History
Founded in 1934, K.A. Witt Construction is a fourth-generation family business built on a foundation of quality, hard work, and meticulous attention to detail. We are proud to be an active part of our local community, offering exceptional craftmanship and unbelievable value to our customers.
Ken Witt
The company’s modern legacy began with lifelong New Prague residents Ken and Lana Witt. After Studying Architectural Drafting at the Dunwoody Institute, Ken began his career at Busch Construction in 1968. He became a part-owner in 1973 and took full ownership in 1990, officially renaming the business K.A. Witt Construction. Under his leadership, the company expanded from residential building into commercial construction, townhomes, land development, property management, excavation, and real estate.
After more than 40 years of service, Ken retired and passed his leadership and core values down to the next generation. Today, Jason and Brandon Witt lead the company. supported by a dedicated family team. Nancy heads K.A. Witt Real Estate, while the youngest generation has also stepped into key roles: Ben and Luke serve as assistant project managers, and Taylor is the operations manager for excavation.
Jason Witt
Jason Witt holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota. After completing his studies, he returned to New Prague, where he now lives with his wife, Nancy, and their two sons, Ben and Luke. Jason oversees residential construction, excavation, and commercial project management.
Brandon Witt
Brandon Witt also attended the University of Minnesota and the Dunwoody Institute. He resides in New Prague with his wife, Jenny, and their children, Taylor and Samantha. As an excavation project manager, Brandon specializes in earthwork projects, utilities and septic design.
